They Never Give Us Control

They never say a single nice thing

they are always pleasant when there’s pay

they never really do much of anything

they know you know what’s the say.

Never really never happens that way

never procrastinate until maybe tomorrow

never say never is what they never say

never say i love you without the sweet sorrow.

Give is what you never want to be or do

give is how you become a social misfit

give is what you’ll never need to pursue

give more nothing and that’s what you’ll get.

Us is what we only pretended we’d live

us is what we’ll never thankfully be

us is what we’ll never forget not to forgive

us will never include little lost me.

Control is what you know you see

control is what you want to need

control is what you want to give me

control how much you want me to bleed.

Duchess von Meowfrau

The Duchess sez an ephemeral yes,
because she luvs my passionate poems.
The art she seeks comes from geeks,
penetrating and poetic with lyrical moans.

The world at large has her attention,
yearning for enlightenment at the university level,
Writing and thinking her stream to mention,
making them real for her eventual novel.

Observing aesthetics in philosophy boats,
is the travel of the Buddhist mind.
She is a collector and a connoisseur of quotes,
to find the one inside she may then call mine.

When it comes to Facebook friends,
she is the cat’s scratch and meow.
Friends and fans I introduce to you,
the ineffable Miss von Mellowfrau.

Masked Poking

I need another poke,
just one more will do.
After you give it to me,
I’ll need another two.

Poking is so much fun,
or so that’s what I hear.
The toughest part is poking,
without feeling with fear.

Anyone can do a poke,
but to do it well is an art.
It’s usually better for me,
if who I’m poking is smart.

Poking a friend is disastrous,
a stranger is sometimes intriguing.
You should poke at least twice daily,
more that that can be fatiguing.

Poking is more enjoyable,
when more than one takes place.
iwant to poke you whenever,
isee or think of your face.

If you’ve never been poked,
all you need to do is to ask.
The first poke is the hardest,
i suggest wearing a mask.
